Get ‘Together’ with Sindy on This Ramadan Month

Who’s here excited about the fact that ‘coming home’ can be literal on the Ramadan days of 2023? Well if you ain’t, we sure are.

It's hard to believe that 4 months of 2023 have already passed. Eid celebration is just around the corner. The idea of reuniting with our loved ones, laughing in happiness, and sharing food and stories with each other gives us bliss and chills already! Sindy Mutmaina, Eyelovin’s muse for this month, is with us on this side.

Before we go further to knowing what makes Ramadan special in her eyes, let’s get a little bit deeper into knowing Sindy as a talented model that is known for her simple yet stylish sense of style. Sindy is also active as a beauty influencer. With a strong presence on social media platforms, Sindy shares captivating content related to makeup, skincare, haircare, and beauty products. A plus point is that Sindy's engaging personality and passion for beauty shine through her posts. She has gained a loyal following of beauty enthusiasts who look up to her for inspiration and advice. As an influential figure in the beauty industry, Sindy Mutmaina has established herself as a trusted source for all things beauty, with her profile reflecting her creativity, expertise, and dedication.

"I started modeling not because it was initially my desire since I was quite a tomboy. I have short hair and love to play badminton. But, my mom used to be a model, and she eventually invited me to enter the world of modeling."

Sindy had just started her new life with her husband. Recently wed, she now has several different routines than her usual on Ramadan. Before moving to her new place, Ramadan for her is filled with activities with her family, from praying to breaking the fast and suhoor together, but now it’s different… there are only two inside one roof. It’s exciting for her.

“If I have to choose… I prefer to cook for suhoor or break the fast, something simple like sauteed vegetables or vegetable soup and fried frozen food,” said her giggling.

Other than that, some beauty routines change too. “Not much though, well the one that is always important is moisturizer, to keep my skin moist. Also, lipstick. So that I will still look fresh,” explained Sindy. What about her day-to-day routine you may ask? She’s still active with most of her work as a model. Nothing changed.

We may be familiar that Ramadan serves as a time of reflection, self-discipline, and increased devotion, allowing us to deepen our connection with Allah and attain higher spiritual awareness and consciousness. It is a month that encourages self-reflection, self-improvement, and cultivating a strong internal spiritual state. Now, togetherness takes on a special meaning. The shared experience of fasting, worship, and reflection during Ramadan promotes a sense of unity, empathy, and compassion among Muslims, emphasizing the significance of togetherness in the spiritual journey of Ramadan.

As we mentioned earlier, Sindy no longer lives with her parents. This is what makes Sindy look forward to being together at Eid.

"There are so many special moments with my family that I remember, starting from praying together, Suhoor to breaking fast together. I always think this is a very blessed month," nostalgically she remembered.

Let us cherish this holy month by defining togetherness once more. To appreciate our loved ones, but mostly ourselves. To forgive all mistakes that happened, and start a new canvas, to be better, as a person in our lives.
